I know this may sound weird- but us ladies love to dress-up. Why not prepare- or order in- a feast or serve 'finger food' and wear your evening dress or cocktail dress that has been languishing in the closet?
I served my husband (now my ex) one of our anniverary dinners in a full lenght evening gown- he loved it!
(hint for the guys- try to be a touch romantic or you may end up like my ex--- outside )
